The Holy Father has decided that 2025 will be a year of Jubilee, something which happens every 25 years.

The theme is “Pilgrims of Hope”, and it will be a year of hope for a world suffering the impacts of war and many other difficulties that contemporary man struggles with.

It will be a special time of prayer and evangelization especially for members of the Divine Mercy Apostolate Marian Helpers in the UK. Because it is our mission, as heralds of the mystery of Divine Mercy, to bring hope to those places of the contemporary world where, humanly speaking, hopelessness seems to reign…

The Holy Father explains:

“We must fan the flame of hope that has been given us, and help everyone to gain new strength and certainty by looking to the future with an open spirit, a trusting heart and far-sighted vision.
The upcoming Jubilee can contribute greatly to restoring a climate of hope and trust as a prelude to the renewal and rebirth that we so urgently desire; that is why I have chosen as the motto of the Jubilee, Pilgrims of Hope.”
